8/8 George AMPS 159

Previous Post

George’s new insulin should finally be arriving today, and I was able to get the pens this time, which I’m excited about. I don’t know if this will have an impact on his numbers, but his current vial is six months old, so I’m hoping the new at least helps a bit.
It will be interesting to see if the new Lantus makes a difference. Kahlua hasn't had a new bottle since she was diagnosed. Her first bottle lasted 7 months and this bottle is very old.....10 months?

I'm not sure it's the insulin. I think he needs an increase. You could try an increase after a couple of days on the new pen if his numbers don't improve.

It’s been six months on this one, so probably time a refresh. With these yellows all of sudden I’m trying to figure out if there’s a specific reason, but so far just seems like a random increase in numbers.

I was going to give him a week on the new insulin to see if it has an impact. He did so well for so long with his numbers, but in the last three weeks they’ve definitely been trending higher all the way around.

Did you ever talk to the vet about those crystals? I’m glad he’s feeling good.
