So what the heck!?! Now he is trying to go to low! He vomited a lot. But he seems okay otherwise so we are just keeping an eye on him. We have 3 hours to go until he’s past his nadir roughly. Assuming we make it, then what? Give him 7L again? Or back off to 6.5L?

The Libre can read much lower at lower numbers. The icon that looks like a magnifying glass next to a blood drop is its way of telling you that you need to verify the number with a poke and a regular meter. I would verify any sudden dives with a regular meter.

Good to see he has broken into good numbers with this dose :)

Agree on breaking to good numbers. The grass is always greener! Lol! Relion is reading around 100 and the libre 50-60. He seems fine. I didn’t mention that he puked a lot earlier (new food could have been culprit or he could’ve just had a bug. He had diarrhea last 2-3 days. Maybe bc we are getting closer to ideal dose? Idk. Just want to get through next 2 hours to get to his +6 and then I’ll stop biting my nails! :smuggrin::nailbiting::D
He is eating some food. So hopefully we’ll get through nadir without dropping below 50 with relion. Assume @tiffmaxee to proceed with 7L if ReliOn doesn’t go below 50, right?

He made it through his Nadir. He is still lingering around 100 with his libre sensor. We’ll see where he’s at at PMPS.

Okay! He was 225 @ PMPS. I gave him 7U of L. :nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting:

This is me being brave (praying no hypo overnight with Monday morning workday looming). We got another Weruva food that is low carb and low phosphorus. He’s eating more of it. I hope we are just finally finding his ideal dose! It’s so nice to see blues and so scary to see greens. Lol

I use those Weruva lower phosphorus foods too. Just scan him before you go to bed. It’s been an hour or so. Where is he now?

So sorry! I fell asleep. Checked on him throughout the night but didn’t wake up enough to post. He bounced! Guess I’m not surprised. Probably give him .5U R this morning. Dang. Wish the Reds and Blacks would go away. I don’t like them and neither does he!

Lovely cycle of blues and greens today. Did you get a ear poke when he was 60 on the Libre? Curious to know how low he went on the ReliOn.
it was nice to see him in the blues for sure! I guess the greens will grow on me. Right now they make me nervous! Yes, at some point he was 44 on the Libre and corresponding was 116 with the Relion. That’s a pretty big delta. Other than his stomach issues which could be due to food change, he didn’t show symptoms of hypo. So I guess he did just fine through the whole cycle. …until he bounced!

I definitely was wondering what the corresponding human meter reading was when the spreadsheet says 60. I’ve seen a very large difference, particularly in low numbers, between Libre and human meters. Any decision about reductions should be based on human meter readings.
