Good evening all (from NSW Australia)
I'm still a newbie (June Diagnosis). Ginny is doing well. We've been plodding along with BG tests, LC meals, and insulin, and I can see it's all working. I did another curve today, and I can see the bigger picture of improvement (her results seem to be stabilising around the yellows, which will soon hopefully introduce her body to more blues as the 'norm'). However, I'm still having trouble understanding the nuances, like Ginny's nadir, which I had thought was around 8+ mark, but today's curve (date: 26-7) seems to show no nadir at all? The lowest points of today's curve seems to be the AMPS and PMPS.
10.5 17.4 15.8 14.9 14.8 14.9 13.6 13.2 13.1 13.2 11.7 mmol/L
189 313 284 268 266 268 245 238 236 238 211 mg/dl
I think I need several more curves before I can make any real conclusions but I thought I'd share and see what the community here thinks.
Thanks, guys
