Hey Elise, yes I know.
When I said I needed help I meant I don’t know how his bg will be affected by honey, FF, weruva pouches. I don’t know how much to give and when, I’ve never had to bump him up.

Given that this is his lowest +2 ever I’m expecting I might have to bump him up.

test at +3?

Does this look like any of the cycles you were talking about with his bounce clearing tendencies? I have never seen a cycle like this.
I want to be prepared with what to give him to bump him up. I would like to use the honey but I know it has a short duration and again no exp giving honey or any carbs.

30 min until +3, should I be bumping him up now??
 
I’d feed a little lc and add a little 12-14% to make higher lc or low mc.A test at +3 to decide is fine.
 
A little is a teaspoon of mc to lc. Post your next test and I will tell you what I would feed. See you in 15.
 
Do you have all the Weruva's listed there? Even the 12% and 14%?

For future reference, when you get a large drop like that - especially into green - you want to feed a little higher carbs to slow him down. How he will respond to carbs is a matter of trial and error. Once you collect data over several cycles of "feeding the curve" you will have a good idea of how carb sensitive he is and how much carbs he needs at what point of the cycle.

Test 20 mins after food - even if it's a little past +3.
 
Yes I have all them and was planning on using the gravy from them like others have.

I have not fed him anything yet. Testing +3 now, 5 min early and will post back for feeding instructions. Thanks
 
Yes he got his usual LC from feeder at +2.

+3 @84. again have not fed any carbs yet

holding back LC feeder until I get feeding instructions. Give tsp 14% with it?

Yes it’s looking like a great cycle, he has been mostly in the blues for 2.5 cycles now. Progress! In the last week his clinical signs have vanished- normal urination freq, playing and chasing Stella like a little kitten. Still hungry as hell all the time but I think this dose is great so far!

Honestly hard to say what he will do. It takes a few active cycles to understand their patterns. He is still new to green.

BTW, please take off the "help?" in the title now? Thanks :-)
