I will certainly give that a try!! A +1.5 or +2 carb load would then be in addition to the meal he gets at AMPS or PMPS just prior to his shot. But maybe that's just how he rolls...Thanks, Wendy.Continuing on yesterday's conversation, have you ever tried a +1.5 or +2 snack for a while? You need carbs in his tummy before he onsets.
In addition to his preshot meal. Or you can save a bit of his PS meal for then.
What I usually do is give preshot meal and then when I test @ +2.5 or +3 give a snack. Tonight I'll try the snack at +1 or +1.5 and then see what happens...
Which dental vet are you seeing there? Dr. Legendre was Neko's - nice guy. And he knows about acros. Out of curiosity, which clinic does the stem cell work did you find? The first vet in Canada to use stem cells is at the clinic I go to, but she uses it mostly for joint work. Use in cat kidneys is still more at the research phase. There were lots of studies of it going on at CSU when were last there. On Tanya's page, it seem to be described as experimental and not stellar results.
Sorry, you won't get in. She doesn't take new clients. She also does alternative therapies, acupuncture, chiro, chinese medicine so is very popular. I see the other vet there. What clinic do you go to, Wendy? Perhaps I can also contact the vet you mention.
Ok, maybe I won't get in but could you share the name?Sorry, you won't get in. She doesn't take new clients. She also does alternative therapies, acupuncture, chiro, chinese medicine so is very popular. I see the other vet there.
