DH and I are going away for the weekend, July 21- 24. We have a lady that is going to stay with Molly those days. She has looked after a diabetic cat before, and is studying to be a nurse.
When should I change Molly's dose, so I'll know she'll be safe? I think for the weekend it would be safe to decrease her dose. It's a test to see how she's going to react with us gone. Hopefully she'll eat etc...

Any suggestions? I'm leaving a list for the lady

Will she be testing at all? If testing before shooting I think you won’t need to reduce. I’d just give a no shot number.

It looks like you stall if green and if under 90. If she can stall and the bg is going up if she can get a second test like you do and she’s eating well that would be great. If not possible then skip it under 90. If she finds Molly won’t eat at preshot I’d lower her dose and shoot a token dose in that case. She’s been consistently holding at 2.0 which is why I think that should be fine.

What's a token dose? what should I do if she won't eat while we're away? we were away for one night 3 years ago and she did eat. But I just worry
