Good morning from Chicago.
Jade is on day 6 of an antibiotic for a probable UTI. Vet was here last Wednesday to get a sterile urine sample but she peed on the table so the sample wasn’t sterile. Vet thinks she most likely has a UTI. She’s on Orbax and I give her a dose Prazosin once a day as well.
She’s eating well, playing, pooping, peeing and preening. I don’t post daily because I’ve been over my head with work but try to keep my SS updated.
 
I am glad to hear that she sounds so happy and is feeling well, despite the suspected UTI.

You work nights, right? Lots of extra hours?

Hi! I do work in a restaurant in the evenings but my shifts start mid-afternoon. Jade has a follow-up visit on Monday (paws crossed).

Hi there! I was thinking about you earlier. She’s doing ok. I need to update her SS! I do think she may have a toothache or something of that nature. She’s eating a bit less and although her breath is always horrible ( she does have really bad dental disease), it’s a bit worse than usual. She’s not doing any of the drooling, head shaking, pawing at the mouth behavior tho. I’m keeping a close eye on her. Her BG numbers are up and down ( per usual ). How are you and yours?

Whew. I’m glad to hear she’s okay! I hope you are as well. :) I was thinking of you last week because I had not seen you post for a while. You were having a vet visit follow up last time you posted. So when I saw you were on the Board this evening I thought I would touch base.
We are pretty good here. The cats keep me on my toes along with two foster kittens. Overall I can’t complain.

Vet came and took a urine sample and all was good and clear with that. :) She was on antibiotics for 10 days for a UTI. It’s always something :banghead:
I do keep track of Jades numbers, I just don’t fill in my sheet on a daily basis, I need to do better with that.

Yes. Because some people like me will worry if they see a spreadsheet that’s blanks for several days.
 
Jill, what’s going on with you and Jade? I’ve been thinking about you both and haven’t seen any posts for a while so I worry.

Hi.
We are not doing well. We were, but things have gone downhill in the last 24 hours. We have a late appointment tonight. Her BG went to 618 last night and she’s not really eating. No ketones but no idea what is happening with her. I’m
A wreck.
