I doubt it was anything that you did. He still seems to be following his normal pattern with that high AMPS after the blues yesterday. I see that now he’s back into yellow. I hope he will even come down into blue today before the cycle is finished.

That stinks! But it's not because of the gravy which would have worn off a long time ago - at least not yesterday's gravy. Did you feed him anything today at +1 or after? (for the AM cycle?) Did you go to the Pet Barn place and get any different foods? Or is that tomorrow?

Sorry had another sleepless night & was unwell today so late reply
I added a bit of left gravy to his 1%carb ultimates so don’t know
Yes I grabbed few things but there wasn’t much choice must try another one

Thanks his eyes were opened & he was sitting like that when am assuming he was « high » not used to a good number on his low green 95…closed his eyes cause of the flash but without it the tongue wasn’t showing but naughty mummy couldn’t resist the pic
 
Think the dive is a bit too fast so hope I didn’t ginx anything and gave top of spoon he hardly had 2 licks of it …of gravy lovers beef flavour…

Yes. He really did a dive tonight. You should have given the gravy around +1 or+2. Maybe you did? I wish he could eat about a 15 percent snack around +1 or +1.5. He bounced quickly. Take advantage and get some sleep.

tried the gravy tonight at +1 no dive & still high number..:gave a tiny amount like 10c coin

he usually gets a full FF chicken beef turkey classic or tuna but only 1 or 2 per week of the tuna

as a meal pre shot but since he has high numbers I started to give him half of the can pre shot then the other half at +1
Then he get a snack at +4 & +8 both are 1% carb & the ones which are at the beginning of the food list for Australia the ultimates…or pate which are also meant to be ok called dine & crave but I know you said names don’t mean much sorry

since a few days I tried adding some chunky chicken or gravy at +2 which was maybe too late..:& either too much or not enough or too much carbs not sure yet lol

wait & see where he goes tonight…it’s pouring rain so am unsure I’ll still have reception but talk soon @Suzanne & Darcy

That will wear off. It is really hard to know if he’s going to stay high or dive. Maybe wait until you have a test showing that he’s going down before giving any gravy or medium carb stuff. You will figure it out. Maybe he just needs to eat something other than super low carb at his preshot meal. Maybe it’s just too low carb for him.
 
Here’s a link to a discussion about lowest carbs versus low carb. It talks about how some cats give lower BG numbers when fed a little higher (but still under ten percent) carbs. I am just trying to think of anything that might make things better for Shai. I know know that finding foods has been really difficult for you.

All he gets is the FF & 1% so might be worth a go must look it up but where’s the link ?! :confused:
