7/6/, Boris AMPS 100

Almost green with meter variance. What times in the cycle (AM and PM) does he get food at?

It has been found that giving cats at low doses a snack at +9, brings down the preshots. You may want to try that. If you don't have a timed autofeeder that woud mean setting an alarm early in the morning for the +9 snack (yawn).

Hi Bhooma,
Thanks for your help! Actually...Boris has been getting a +9 snack with the feeder for a long time now. He used to vomit a bit in the early mornings since we begun insulin treatment, and I realized that giving him a little something at around 3 or 4 am. calms his stomach. appart from that he also gets a small meal with his shot, and then another portion 2 or 3 hours later when the shot kicks in.

Oh that's good. Any idea if he eats that at +9 or is there a chance he could be eating it later also? Does the feeder close (rotate to an empty slot) so that he can't eat after +10?

Wow... I haven't even thought about the possibility that he might be eating it later... I suppose its unlikely in regards to Boris; Probably its the other way around and Fatty is sitting next to his feeder for half the night waiting for it to turn (or rather on top of it like he sometimes does) :).
But I'll set the feeder to turn again an hour later just in case...Thanks for the great advise!
