5/25 Gumung Pmps 63 / +1.75 58/+3 57/+5 59

I’m glad you shot 2.0. I think that’s going to be his dose until he earns another reduction or his bg starts to increase which I don’t anticipate happening.

Yes! And thank you for your suggestion on dose 2 last time. I think 2 is right for now and hope he goes down slow and easy. :D

Has his appetite been closer to normal I hope?

Not to normal yet? But he does feel hunger and makes an eye contact! His pmps 63 and did eat around 3 Tbsp 50kcal at once.

Maybe it is normal? Other than when he had excessive hunger, he ate 1 3oz can at once. And wanted more..

Was he a food oriented cat before becoming diabetic? How’s his weight?

He used to love food before diabetic excessive hunger hit. He weighted a month ago when he had ultrasound to see why his numbers not coming down. He weighted 14 lb. Visually, don’t see any big difference on his shape side ways or from up to see if he has curve (slight curve, but still bit chubby look?)

So if he’s still a little chubby if he eats a little less it will help his bg. You just don’t want rapid weight loss.

Yes of course! He does need to loose some weight but, it kind of shocked me when he refused foods at low BGs…

His +1.75 was 58, and he wanted to eat. So gave LC with some drops of syrup.

He’s on a mission this cat. I’m glad you added syrup. This might turn out to be too much insulin even. He hasn’t even bounced from all that time in low numbers and skips. Try and keep him hungry as he didn’t even get a food bump.

I know! I even give some food before pmps, but that didn’t really do much and end up having 60s on pmps.
Will be checking him soon at +3 to see how that food @1.75 worked out..

He has been pretty flat all day. Try 1.5U or 1.75U. He might just hold it. If not, we can take him back up.

Yes! i would be more comfortable giving him 1.5 tomorrow morning. I will try that to see how he does from there.
He did eat left over (before 1Tbsp) but will offer or leave out some more food while I go to sleep. Thank you Bhooma
