The food might raise the bg a little but I think it’s a bounce.
Yes, it wasn't that much & was only raw mix. It was looking like we were stabilizing, nothing changed with food or routine and now this. I don't understand - are we still working through those fur shots?

I think he just bounced from all that yellow. The effect of the fur shots might be a little bit now but just about gone I think. Once you know what kind of a food bump he gets you can relax the two hour no food window. That’s what a few tests at +1 might help you learn.

I think you have room for an increase as she’s been on 1.5 more than 10 cycles since the first green on this dose. The only hold up was the two possible fs in a row. I’d go for it provided you can monitor the first couple of cycles closely in case there’s a big reaction.

Thank you for the advice, I've been feeling it and was almost disappointed to see the greens. I'll get through today and increase to 1.75 starting tomorrow unless I get a strong indication otherwise. Close monitoring is easy right now; working from home & she has her own chair in my office

I think he just bounced from all that yellow.
I'm still figuring this out. I was thinking the steady yellow was a good thing, still high, but steady and we add a bit more insulin to bring down a bit more; keep it flat/steady as we go. Is the bouncing a result of incorrect insulin in general? My brain makes me want something like: steady is good, add or subtract little bits to keep steady in the desired zone. More like water on a scale

I'm giving us both a break this afternoon, need to get out; it's a beautiful day and the balsam flowers are going kaboom

Flat yellow is an improvement but he is either bouncing from that or the green. fur shots took a brief toll on his progress. I think he’s clearing it again so see how he dues tonight before deciding whether to increase.
