All that green after stopping the MC makes me wonder if it was leading to some loss of duration. Time will tell.

Clarification: hypothesis that the MC bits was perhaps offsetting 12 hour cycle duration? Similar to a late shot reduces the effaecey of the insulin, such that it amounts to a smaller dose; likewise an early shot of insulin amounts to an increase of insulin? Interesting theory that that small of MC could effectively reduce the duration. Such a delicate balance of a powerful hormone and food as well as timing. WOW

not available to get mid cycle test today, but caught onset as well as possible nadir.
Packed mini meals/snacks for Cali, fed by hubby on timed schedule per SS.
still hit and miss use of AF by Cali. Fallback we are AF,
although long-term desired state is to rely confidently on AF, especially PM cycle.

next test PMPS after 2 hour fasting :confused:

Contemplating test options for PM cycle, subject to change based on results:
test options: +4 & +8. OR. +5 & +11 [to catch rise @ end of cycle]

Yes - especially later in the cycle. Early in the cycle when the insulin action is strongest, higher carbs can be used to reduce the dive and the subsequent bounce.

I see the green streak continues! Are you sure you are testing Cali and not Two Socks? :D

That does make logical sense, stronger, earlier.

Thanks Bhooma, I needed the levity you offer. Cali says let her at him, she will test Two Socks!
Two does get to eat whatever doesn’t work for Cali. If I buy wrong or open a MC before it goes bad if she doesn’t use. He is my cleanup boy and I have definitely almost cut out any kibble for him.

Cali does not want any cat or dog here. We always joked that she lamented “she Cali has done the math and decided we can’t afford another cat/dog in HER house”.
I haven’t tested two socks yet although I check his ears to see if warm enough, check inside his mouth… But I am going to try to test him periodically. If exercise brings BGs down, he should be low normal as he flies everywhere. So fun this cat. You probably noted every time Cali gets us with claw, we test our BGs. Several time Cali lower than me, the more I hover over her, the more sugar and carbs I eat, stress eating. But then she calls me on it, sniffing my breath and wanting to kiss me if I have eaten sweets. I will have to hide my watermelon and cantaloupe this summer, two of her absolute favorites - were.

Please take a peek at my earlier post regarding tests this PM cycle and suggest which option I am pondering. Thank you
