Yes. Some cats take longer to flatten out than others. It took him a while to get to a good dose and now that he is seeing lower numbers more frequently, it will give his body a chance to get used to them :)

With nadirs in the 50s, this is the dose for him for now. A cat's insulin needs go up and down - so a dose that was right this week can be too much or too little the next. Dosing is guided by his numbers. If he drops below 50, that means a reduction. If his numbers trend up, he needs more insulin. Our job is to follow the numbers :-)
