The AMPS is the AM Pre-Shot...the test you should get immediately before feeding/shooting in the morning.
With Lantus, you can Test/Feed/Shoot, all in 5-10 minutes. You test to make sure they're high enough for insulin at all, Feed to make sure they're at least willing to eat and shoot, usually with their head in the bowl.
The + cells correspond to the number of hours since the shot. We're in all different time zones here so we use the + system. We don't care what the actual time is...we need to know how long it's been since the last shot, so (for example) if you T/F/S at 6am and get another test at 9am, that's 3 hours since the shot, so the test number goes in the +3 cell. If you test again at 1pm, that's 7 hours since the shot so goes in the +7 cell....all the way up to +11 and then it's time to start over with the PMPS (PM Pre-Shot)
Be sure to put the link to your spreadsheet into your "Signature" because when you have questions or need help, we will need to see your spreadsheet. Putting it there means it'll always be there and we won't have to waste time asking you to post it.
