Mouse is fabulous today! She had an awful night Sunday and stopped eating completely. Finally the Miratz kicked in and she started eating Monday morning. The vet decided to have her finish the Amoxicillin on Tuesday. So she was on it 4 1/2 weeks. So today she is feeling so much better. She's eating and playing and back to her social self. She hasn't pooped yet though. Now we pray that infection stays gone and her little kidneys recover well. My poor girlie has been sick for so long!

Thank you for updating me. I think of you often. I hope that she will eat lots and bounce back and even gain weight! Keep an eye on her. You may want to at least get an “in house CBC” and urinalysis done on her in a month or so to make sure her white count isn’t climbing and that her urine is clear…. Just to be on the safe side. Those kidney infections are very stubborn unfortunately. I’m really happy now about Mouse. I needed some happy kitty news today!

Thank you so much for always asking about her! I'm sure we will be going back to the vet to have things monitered. She has to check her potassium levels at some point, too. Herself ate early this a.m., but doesn't want her food now. Probably because I snuck some probiotic in there.....she knows......she always knows.......

Well....I've offered 3 different dishes and she won't touch any of them. I hope I don't have to pull out the Miratz again. I was hoping we were done with it....
