Mouse.....the last couple days she's been okay. Finicky on her food, but somewhat playful. Last Sunday she decided she wouldn't be eating at all and the antibiotic really made her sick. We saw the vet, who gave her a cerenia shot and an antibiotic shot. It gave her a break from the pill for a day and got her eating. For like 3 days after that she was a basket case......yowling and needing my full time attention, which still wasn't enough. So now I'm giving her Slippery Elm Bark and making sure she eats enough before the pill. So far so good! She seems to like Purina duck and sweet potato! Finally something she will eat!

Bless your heart and little Mouse! You have your hands full. It’s very strange she had that reaction to the Convenia and Cerenia injections. I hope she’s had a better day today!

I wish I knew if it was a reaction to the shots or not. Maybe just the stress of going to the vet. She has always been a high anxiety girl. Today she was tscing around and yowling like she used to. She definitely seemed like her old self. Of course we had the windows open for a bit. She loves that!
