2/26 Mac AMPS 301

Hi Jill you had commented on Angela and Cleo's post which is in blue

about feeding the curve and @FrostD asked you to tag her on your own thread about.
I don't think you saw it so I went ahead and did it for you :cat:

Here is what you said
I would love to learn more about feeding schedules and as you say "feeding the curve". I feel I have home testing and giving the shots down, but coordinating the feeding schedule for best results is something I would like to hear more about. My kitty does have chronic pancreatitis. Thanks

Ah thanks Elise! I was digging earlier and couldnt find, added to my Links tab now

Right now Mac is seeing fairly gentle curves, so I actually wouldn't change anything you're doing at the moment.

Max had chronic pancreatitis as well. My vet recommended small amounts of food more often. In always said when they start to feel better if they eat a lot at one time they might feel yucky. Small several small meals works well for fd as well.

Thank you for looking at his SS! i have been feeding him throughout the day except for the 2 hrs before testing. Unfortunately the poor guy is having a pancreatitis flare today. He had to go off prednisolone when he was Dx's with FD. Have thrown the kitchen sink at.. home he feels better soon :(
