Max has had his insulin this morning. No GI problems during the night or so far. After thinking about it more this morning, I did give Max his injection yesterday morning, but was a few minutes late because I was cleaning up the bathroom where he had diarrhea first thing that morning. I still don’t know what’s up with the high numbers though unless it is because of his tummy upset. Maybe a pancreatitis flare up again. Because of that and getting distracted, that’s why I second guessed myself yesterday with the morning dose maybe. Anyway, we seem to be back to the usual routine this morning so we will see what happens. @Wendy&Neko do you think it’s okay to go back to 8 units tomorrow if we don’t get anywhere today or tonight with this dose or give it a little longer? He’s going up instead of down. I feel pretty sure that he got his dose yesterday morning after thinking about it again this morning. We were just a little late because of the upset tummy incident, not more than 15 minutes though. I don’t know what’s wrong with him. He’s acting fine today, no tummy issues and ate his breakfast this morning and a light LC snack at +2.

Also I don’t know why I didn’t think to do this yesterday or earlier…too upset I suppose, but I take out the correct number of syringes for the week and put them in this plastic organizer with his non-refrigerated meds, lancets and strips. The count confirmed that he got his dose yesterday. I am usually a very organized person so all of that has just rocked my world!
 
Good to see that he did get his dose yesterday.

Maybe hold off the dose decision until tomorrow. That'll be the sixth cycle after that last stretch of blues. Would be good to know where his nadirs land once the bounce is over.

Okay I’ve got it. He hasn’t bounced this long in a long time. Those high numbers are so hard to look at. I understand though.
