Still no poop , I have given Molly a fair amount of miralax. Why isn’t she going?

Mollys at the vet getting x- rays , the vet couldn’t feel and feces. But there is diarrhea, see what the x rays say.

We’re home X-ray was good just showing loose stool, lots of gas. The vet told me I shouldn’t have stopped the Miralax. Or the Vitalax the way I did. She prescribed Molly Proviable 1 capsule every 24 hours and Cerenia 1 tablet every 24 hours. I’m just happy she’s ok. Since we’ve been home she is pooping but diarrhea

YAY!!! Constipation is awfulAmethyst and JoJo get 1/4 teaspoon every morning of Miralax and sometimes more I would rather they have diarrhea one in a while then constipation

I am glad Molly is okay. And she’s going - even if it’s diarrhea. That could be exacerbated by vet stress too - the diarrhea, I mean.

Good about the Proviable probiotic. I have used it before.

You can try a small amount of pumpkin mixed in food for fiber - or the psyllium husks that I am sure we’ve talked about before. The fiber can help bulk up the diarrhea and make it less watery.

I stopped giving her the Miralax, look where it got me . Oh well lesson learned

Okay. I see the vet gave you Cerenia for her. Yes. The Cerenia normally will stop vomiting. I have used it for years in my kitties and have found it to be very safe.
