Wow she got all the way down to 55 at +6! I re-tested and she was 65. Gave some Hill K/D but husband had just given her a snack 30 mins prior. Does this seem like a good thing to do? Going to keep testing!

It’s far enough into the cycle that it might be the nadir. A little lc would have been fine. Test again at +7. Now that you saw green you will hold this dose for 10 cycles. This is good! :D

Ahhhhh its scary! But yeah - she has been at 1 since she started. We thought about upping the dose and I think that did the trick!

I remember the first time I saw 60. I was at my vet’s office for a nadir test. I wasn't home testing yet and Max had just started insulin. My stomach dropped. It was around +7. My vet was not the least bit concerned. When I returned for the next nadir test I had my meter. Soon those greens will become addictive!

OMG I love it! I surprised myself when I first saw 67 yesterday b/c I've read and seen so many on here managing it. If not for this forum I would be a mess. Thank you seeing my post today and coming to our rescue!! At the moment Two-Two is a shoe box (got some new shoes and she claimed the box of course) just taking a nap in the sun. Seems fine. :)

Yes. Save the hc for under 50 unless the drop is early in the cycle and you want to try and keep her surfing in green.

Now I am really regretting giving her HC food when I saw 55 b/c at her pmps she was 459! Now I know...I think I will get up a few times tonight to make sure she doesn't drop too low like she did today and yesterday.

Don’t. She’s bouncing from that 55. Just get a +2-3 an unless a big drop (which I doubt) go to bed. Bounces can take 4-6 cycles to clear.

Feed her a little lc. Then get one more test before bed. You should be good until +11. She might be blue by then.
