Update , Chloe will be getting her wings tomorrow

I had to take my oldest cat Chloe to the vet today. For the past few days she has not wanted to eat. I have been syringe feeding her though. The vet did not find anything that was obvious so now we are waiting on the results of the bloodwork and urinalysis. She suspects it may be kidney disease or possibly an infection. Chloe is my oldest cat, she just turned 17.

Keep your fingers and paws crossed that they only find something that is either treatable or manageable. Diabetes is not suspected. I tested her and she was only 121.

Bad news. Chloe has liver cancer. So now I am providing hospice care. She still has the will to live so we are making her last days as comfortable as we can for her.

Thank you. I also found out today that my sister also had to let her cat Dobbie cross the bridge today. Not a great start to the year.
