Just to keep in the habit of updates.

She is eating well, and looking a lot happier today!

better - still tender but she is looking much happier, and spending most of her day in the house (sitting on my partner and glaring at me) instead of hiding in the garden, which is progress!

and she is the queen of glares and growls, pity I can't share the video he shot yesterday of her glaring and growling, but will share one of her peacefully sleeping on his lap and cuddling him instead!

She is a stunning girl, but we think we are not far wrong when we say she has a Stalin mustache - she really is a bit of a dictator...

She so is, and boy does she know it!

When I was visiting the shelter I adopted her from she basically walked up to me and glared at me until I said 'that one'.

i also have a tortie Maggie...what is it with their attitudes?? if i dont get up and let her out everyday while Ares gets his amps n food n shots...i get SERIOUS tude! who died and made u queen? (then i remember how awesome of a mom she was when she was young, and i say..welp, u can do whatever, as long as ur on a low carb diet) Aint havin 2 diabetics round here!

Yes, I have heard it called tortitude! She is very talkative, she wasn't happy with me the other night, and Kostya managed to record her producing blood curdling growls at me for over a minute! Not at all shy with her opinion is our Whisk!

LOL, Whisk (whom I sometimes refer to by Whiskey Tango Foxtrot for reasons I am sure you can guess) is usually so tolerant of poking, but with the poor ears lately that has not happened. Hoping to get back to routine on Friday or Monday latest.

The first few weeks we had her she was SO timid and quiet - now I know she was feeling awful with her diabetes. Kostya says we know when Whiskey is feeling bad, she doesn't give our other cat (George who is the sweetest soul) hell!

Yup, attitude oozing from every pore - not sure what it is with girl cats in this house, Saskia (who died in August before we adopted Whiskey ) also had such attitude, I used to call her Princess!

I have a calico and she is definitely chatty! Very nosy and frankly I dont think she would ever sit still for pokes. Gives the glares and I know when she is upset with me. She glares and then scratches on her scratch pad. It's her aggression release I suppose LOL

LOL, we call that scratching anger management! Whiskey goes at one of the carpets and George scratches the hell out of his scratch post!
