U100 half unit syringes

My vet prefers 1/2" syringe needles to administer Glargine insulin to my Sammie . I can't seem to find any U100 half unit, 1/2" needle syringes. Are they available anywhere?

I get mine at Walmart, the BD Ultra-fine.

I don't remember them asking me for any vet information. I didn't need an Rx for them. We live in Georgia. Where are you located? I think I may have filled in something about my cat? I'd have to check.

Our pharmacy didn’t have them in stock but I was able to give them the NDC/HRI number and they ordered them. We’re in the US.

I'm in N.J. and had to give them my vets name , telephone # etc, they then contacted them for the script , I also asked for refills

Thanks everyone for the replies. But I'm looking for 1/2" (12.7mm) needles on half unit U100 syringes. The links provided are for 8mm (5/16) needles or smaller. I read that U100 syringes with half unit markings are available with 1/2" (12.7mm) needles but it seems the longest available are 8mm (5/16").

If you can get the NDC number, most pharmacies should be able to special order them for you.
