Got Ruby back into greens and blues again, but both she and her sister seem to be eating less these days. Not sure what might be bothering them. I also haven’t seen a poop from either of them in a few days, which is odd because Olive is usually quite regular. Hope whatever it is passes.

I find it interesting how prednisolone works well for her bg and budesonide didn’t but nice to see she’s back to the blues and greens. Another ECID. Sending poop vines.

Thanks, Elise! Ruby’s never been on budesonide. Only ever on pred. I wanted budesonide for her but her oncologist would not prescribe it because she said the pred was more effective for her SCL, and she was right. It took us a while to get us to the right dose and we’re going back and forth between 2.5 and 3 it seems but I’m ok with that.

I dint know why I thought you had tried it. I think it’s good for IBD rather than prednisolone now that you mention that.

Yeah, I might try budesonide for my civvie if she continues to lose weight. She's lost about 6 ounces in the last three months even though she's been on EOD Cerenia and occasional ondansetron. Gotten very picky about food recently. I don't want to put her through a biopsy, and I've learned enough about IBD/SCL from Ruby that I will do another ultrasound in a few months and maybe start budesonide and pray that I don't get another diabetic cat as a result.

Yeah I wish Mr Ks liver was better or I'd start with budesonide too
