Happy new year everyone! It has been quite awhile since I have been on the forum. I am feeling discouraged by all the red and black on Zhoom's chart so far this year. He has always been a very bouncy kitty but he seems to be bouncing even more lately. Even a low to mid blue number will send him shooting up into the red or black. I don't know if this regulatory response will ever settle down in Zhoom. Does cold weather affect this in any way I wonder? It has been extremely cold here in NY the last week. I do tend to hold Zhoom's dose for 8 cycles because he has time and time again gone into the green on his 8th cycle, sometimes even asking for a dose reduction. I did hold a dose recently for 10 cycles. Maybe it threw him of course. Thanks for listening. Hope you are all doing well.
 
Happy new year! If I were you I would lower your reduction number. He needs to spend more time in normal numbers. You test enough to keep him safe.
 
Hello again! I agree with Elise. A reduction point of 70 doesn't seem to be working for Zhoom Boy. Even more so since he's a long term diabetic.
 
Thanks for the advice. I will try out lowering his reduction number back to 50 and see if I can't get him back on track.
