Thank you, I put in the remarks what he eats & how often.I didn't even think about adding it to his new year spreadsheet. I am questioning myself because another group about feline diabetes is telling me I should not reduce until he hits 49 or below? I told her the dosing method I'm using & that my bottom # for reductions is 70 or below. She said the dosing method I'm using is for someone who isn't testing? She also said he's not going to make it to remission unless I increase back up to 0.75. I think I may withdraw from that group. @Bron and Sheba (GA)

Can you tell me what group that is? A forum or fb group?
I am not as familiar with Prozinc as @JanetNJ and @FrostD but I do know they don’t want like to see Prozinc users dropping too low. I’ll leave it up to them to decide if you need an increase.
It can be different with lantus insulin as it’s a different type of insulin and users doing TR drop under 50 to get a reduction.
Its rubbish to say the method you are following is for people who do not test.

getting advice from two different groups can be counterproductive and confusing. I think you need to decide which one you want to stick with and leave the other. You need to look at which one has the more experienced people. Generally a forum gives more consist advice than a fb page simply because a lot of inexperienced people offer advice on fb pages. I’m not against them. Just stating a fact.

It's called feline diabetes help no forum. I will be leaving that so called group. I didn't realize there were fakes out there.

He has seen some low 70s on this dose just a few days ago. You could try a fat 0.5U, which is just a little bit more than the 0.5 - so between where 0.5 and 0.75U would be. I think 0.75U would be too much and probably put him in 50s

I agree, I caught him @ 87 @ + 5 5 I suspect he dipped possibly under 70 @+3 -+4 today after stalling for 30mins this morning he was @114 AMPS. I will give him a fat 0.5 for PMPS tonight. Thank you @FrostD

It was just a guidance group no forum. When I requested to join I couldn't see what they were all about. I looked around in it when I got done working & left the group, I didn't bother to comment back to her saying that he was struggling in the high hundreds. She obviously doesn't know Panzer at all! I know she was pushy Lol telling me I should put him on Lantus. He's doing beautifully on Prozinc so far! If I ever would need to change it would be to Lantus, but he's good for now. Thank you all for helping me get him this far & hang on for the rest of the ride my friends because Panzer is a roller-coaster of surprises:bighug:
