I suspect you may be right about the increase. She did get the one green early on at this dose, but nothing since. Let's see if she can prove us wrong today or tomorrow.

I’m perplexed at that ONE lovely cycle the evening of her last increase. She’s been eating a bit less lately which concerns me a bit. I’m hoping her ( really bad) teeth aren’t bothering her. The in-home vet wants me to schedule a dental but I just don’t feel good about it with all her “issues”. Hwr face isn’t swollen and she’s not pawing at it or drooling. Her fur isn’t looking as lovely as usual either.

Bad teeth will make it hard to regulate her, and may be very well why she came out of remission. Unless the vet thinks there is a reason not too, it'd probably be better to get the teeth done now, than later when you cannot for worse medical reasons.

I’m not sure how I feel about putting her under anesthesia, to be honest. I also don’t know if I can afford the $1,000+ it would cost. If I thought she’d be ok going under and it would greatly improve her quality of life, I would. Not to mention stress brings in her cystitis. Having that procedure will surely be stress inducing.
She has diabetes, thyroid issues and CKD and she 17 years old and does not react well to anesthesia. Also, my work schedule makes it hard to keep an eye on her afterwards/ after care. Her thyroid meds are in a chew form. What if she has to have her teeth removed? I just don’t know how I feel about it. My vet definitely wants me to do it. I will consider it once I have her diabetes a bit more regulated. For now, that’s my biggest concern.
