Sunny just got a 48@ +4. Should I let him have this reduction? I'm thinking yes since he's been on this dose now for 11 cycles....

Yep! After six cycles you should be good to take a reduction.

ETA - that’s six cycles after a previous reduction. I’m not sure if there are any rules on the number of cycles after an increase…I wouldn’t think so.

If you find that he is yo-yoing between doses, you have two options:

(A) You can choose to follow the rule for reductions for cats that don't hold reductions ie 3 drops between 40 and 50 (on a human meter) on 3 separate days.

(B) Do a skinny reduction/ fat increase and see if his ideal dose lies between 2 doses.
