So we went up to 1u today and grandpa Liam’s sugar has been even higher today. I figured it was just a bounce from the increased dosage. Went down to the garage to feed the ferals and found my sugar shark had managed to get on top of the table to clean up the contraband kibbles! Ive made some modifications so hopefully he won’t be getting up there again. He’s gonna be the death of me.

Just goes to show you can’t trust these kitties around food! If kibble is in the house they will find it.!!
The kibble would explain the high PMPS.
Are you able to get some tests in during the pm cycles?
A before bed test is a good habit to get into.. it that test is lower than the preshot, I would set the alarm and get up amd test again to see Liam is still in safe numbers

Tuesday morning was the first time the ferals were released from the garage/catio. We just moved with our entire colony so they’ve been locked up while they settle from the stress of trapping, vetting, and travel. So it’s only been the last few days at most. I think that’s why his numbers were so high during the curve yesterday. The weather has warmed up and he’s been wandering more. The garage is fairly far from the house.

well he got some kibbles after his pm shot so I think he will maintain higher numbers tonight. I’ll check him before bed tonight and update his ss.

My kitty Sheba once managed to bite through a very thick bag to get into some dog kibble I had very stupidly left on the floor and have a good feed before I found her!

he’s at 499 now. Caught him in the garage again trying to get to kibbles but failing. Fingers crossed the new counter measures keep working.
