We had a restful night that was much needed. Hopefully his new dose will be good for us. Also hoping his SRT is starting to help him out. I want to thank everyone here for the excellent advice and support we always get. @Bandit's Mom you always make me feel comfortable and calm during the times when we need it the most. You give excellent guidance. @FrostD thanks for your encouragement and support. You also give great advice and make me feel safe with my decisions. Your encouragement means so much. @Wendy&Neko your knowledge about acromegaly and how to navigate these crazy numbers we get is just invaluable. I don’t know what I’d do without it. I know I call on you a lot but just know how much I appreciate you. I just felt like I needed to express my gratitude to you all. Hopefully we will have a nice quiet day and start the month off with better days to come! Have a wonderful day!

I'm so happy to see how good Max is doing. You probably never thought you would see those beautiful blues and greens. I can't believe he got a 53! Wishing you all the best with your boy, Lori.

Oh man!

I'd still grab a later test, +6 or 7 maybe. I don't know if this is possibly a post-SRT thing but I've noticed sometimes even a cycle that looks like a bounce can clear relatively quickly,l. I don't see that on Max's spreadsheet (yet)

Thanks Melissa. I will get another test @+6 or 7. He’s feeling better though. He’s running through the house playing like a crazy cat lol. I can’t complain about that. He’s finally starting to act more like he used to be.

For Neko, flat yellow often mean, just a flat yellow cycle. It's ECID. We don't have a lot of data on flat yellow for Max with the human meter, so TBD if it means anything.

Good to hear he's feeling better, now you need to be the same. :bighug:

Explains why he's feeling good. Nice number. I'd feed a couple tsps of LC and get a later test to see where he's going. Remember, many Lev kitties nadir close to +12

So if he continues to go down, I’m supposed to give the whole 11 units? I just want to be clear. I think it’s because I don’t know what’s going on with his SRT and if he’s going to keep going down that makes me so nervous. I really want to get him in good control but at the same time, right now I don’t know if I’m up to staying up with him tonight. I really hate to say that but honestly I’m awfully sick. I will do my best though. :(

Oh dear. I hope you get some good advice. It sounds like you are not well enough to deal with low numbers tonight. @Wendy&Neko can she reduce the shot tonight? It sounds like she needs to take care of herself.

I’m going to check him again in about 20 mins. That will be at +11. We’ll see where he’s headed then. I want to do what is best for him. I’m just frustrated because I’m sick again.

Well I went ahead and gave it to him. Please let me know what type of monitoring is needed tonight. Thanks.

Sorry I wasn't around....had a poison control debacle because I gave the kids shrimp, only to eat one myself and find out it tasted like straight bleach

He’s at 203 @PMPS +3, he may stay flat again but earlier today he went up @+3 then came down. I wonder if I should set an alarm to get up later tonight and check him? I’m probably going to take some NyQuil, but hopefully I can still get up and check him if I should. I could also leave food in the automatic feeder.

I personally would, but food is also an option. To be honest I'd probably leave extra food anyway because I don't trust myself to wake up when sick

Yes I think I will set the alarm but leave food in his feeder for after the alarm just in case I don’t get up. I have fed him quite a bit at +3 also.
