He's been doing so well on his current dose! His numbers have been blue and green for the past week. But I may have messed it up this morning. Needed to demo for my hubby as he will have to do a shot this week. Didn't have my glasses on when I did the shot and when I went to put the cap back on the needle, it was bent at a 90 degree angle. I have no idea if it was bent before or after and whether or not he got any insulin. From what I've read I should NOT shoot again, correct? Will this cause a setback if he didn't get any insulin?

Absolutely correct. Never shoot again. You could give a double dose is it got in. The worst that happens is it was a fur shot. Was he wet?
I couldn't tell if he was wet. He's currently wearing a tank top over his Libre sensor and I had pulled it down before noticing the bent needle. He was dry when I pulled it back up but with such a small dose, the tank top could have soaked it up. If it didn't go in, should I prepare for a lengthy setback? Or should I expect him to stabilize again after the evening shot?

Ah that's happened to me too many times! You'd also likely smell it, smells sort of like fresh rubber.

Hard to say how he'll react, hopefully just a small blip for a day or few til depot builds back up

Hard to say but he might not miss a beat. :bighug:
