Any advice on what we should do next with Panda? We weren't too comfortable on our accuracy with giving him 2.75 units so we upped him to 3u as of Saturday. It's only been 3 days but his numbers aren't looking too shabby so far *fingers crossed*

You may want to change the prefix of your title to ? so people will know you are asking for advice and they'll take a closer look.

Hi Charleen!

Panda is looking good on this dose! :)

Dosing would depend on which protocol you are following - TR or SLGS. If it is SLGS, you would hold the dose. If TR, then you would revaluate the dose in a couple of days and see if he needs an increase.

Thanks so much! It feels so good seeing those numbers and finally feeling confident in what we're doing! I'd say we are following TR. So in a couple days if he is trending the same would that warrant a decrease in his dose?

Also, I'm still getting the hang of how forums work...am I supposed to be linking my old posts when I create new ones?

Great! TR will let you make dose changes faster and let you hold doses where he sees normall numbers (50-100 mg/dl) where his pancrease can heal. With TR, you hold doses at least 10 cycles once you start seeing green. He is bouncing from the green from yesterday and the day before. Let us see where he lands once the bounce clears.

Yup! :-)

We request members to post a new thread every day. This ensures that the thread doesn't get too long to read. Especially in time-critical situations like low numbers or a member stalling a shot.

The thread title nomenclature is:
<Date> - <Kitty's Name> - <AMPS/PMPS number and any other BG numbers you may have for the day> - <Question, if any>

Use the the '?' prefix in the thread title if you have a question, so people know that it's not just an update.

For e.g.
"? 10/18 - Henry - AMPS 285 - Dose increase?"

We also ask that you link your previous post to the current post for continuity. Just paste the URL of your previous post in the body of your current post.

Thank you for all the info Bhooma! Hopefully we start seeing more green numbers soon :)
