Good morning
Tansi is doing pretty well, all things considered.
He continues to eat very small portions on his own, syringe feeding is going much better with Hills A/D and kitten food, both mixed with Hydracare. He has lost a lot of weight.
I can't be sure, but I think his belly effusion is getting smaller, fingers crossed.
Ongoing meds Ondesterone, Cerenia, Antibiotic, occasionally Bupenorphine, and of course the secret sauce .
He is so much better than a few days ago. I am so grateful.
I cant get over his low BG numbers!
What's going on?!

To indicate no insulin given. I have switched from tr to slgs until he feels better. So many different medications at the moment, I wanted to reduce frequent ear pokes daily.
His bg is strangely low at the moment in any case!

I agree with that move. I’m hoping the better numbers are because he’s starting to recover. Fingers and paws crossed.

I would put NS in the cells for no insulin like you did in July

I wonder if if it's going to stay low? I wonder if somehow the fip virus was percolating in the pancreas before anything else? Too soon to tell, but wouldn't that be something?
