Hi everyone, curious on expert thoughts. Cozmo woke me up an hour before his shot time today very hungry. I checked his bg, and it was 97. I checked 45 min later and it was 87. Shot time and it is 79. So I am currently stalling while he is yelling at me. He did this last week and I cut his dose in half because I wasn't going to be around to check on him. Wondering if I should do the same today. And wondering if I am missing him going too low and should decrease his dose. I've been super thrilled with some of his consistent numbers lately. But these low shot time numbers are throwing me for a curve.

I'll be around for the next 5 or 6 hours, but he's got me up so early I'm pretty sure I'll be going back to bed shortly.
 
With TR you can shoot any number over 50 - if you can monitor. Sometimes stalling without food only causes numbers to drop.
87 was the same as 97 (which you shot lost week) with meter variance so, I am not sure why you are stalling.

Since you around for the next 5-6 hours, feed and shoot the full dose. He has not earned a reduction per TR.
 
Did you shoot? With TR and ability to monitor you didn’t need to stall. Often stalling and no food leads to lower numbers.

I did. Full dose as recommended. Even after 6 months it still makes me nervous every time he hits a new low pre shot number.
 
+2.5 bg at 69
His food at +1.5 was his leftover breakfast..low carb. But it was only a teaspoon or so. Will keep testing and if it gets closer to 50 I'll wake him up and give him med carb. Doing ok so far ♡.
