11/11 Sunny AMPS 252, +4 35, +4.5 69, +6 98

Looks like Sunny had other plans today! Wow I just got a 35 on him at +4. Brought him up with karo and hc food. He didn't show any symptoms! He was just sleeping. My gosh. That was spooky.
 
The last time Sunny earned a reduction, on the 5th, he went below 50 the next day as well (twice) and I had to give him quite a bit of hc food to bring him up. Since I have to be gone almost all day tomorrow (from +2 to +10 or 11) I'm wondering if I should give Sunny more of a reduced dose tonight and tomorrow to be ultra safe tomorrow? Like 1u tonight and tomorrow? I'll also leave him hc or mc food in his auto feeder (it has 5 timeslots). Or should I even skip his AM shot tomorrow? I'm very worried he'll go low with me gone. :nailbiting: And don't want to be worried about it all day.
 
The 167 earlier today should be blue BTW.

I don't like to give dosing advice for cats at this low of a dose because my experience is mostly higher dose, but in case nobody pops by I'll at least give my opinion - if he were my cat, I would shoot 1.5U tonight as long as it's safe...looks like it's shaping up to be mirror image of yesterday. See where he's at in the morning, but I'd be leaning towards a 1/2 dose BCS (0.75U), grab whatever test I can, then decide on what food to leave out. I'd try to avoid a skip, I'd do a token dose (0.25U) before skipping. I'd also be too uncomfortable to shoot a full dose.

Like I said yesterday, if you shoot, shoot 3 mins ahead so you can get a +2 before you leave.

Ok thank you again. I wanted to check again since I'm a nervous Nelly, and since we also earned a reduction today. That 35 made me extra nervous. Lol. This will be my first time leaving Sunny all day with no sitter. I might need a xanax tomorrow. Lol Gaaaaah! :woot:

Oh my goodness do I ever feel that! I've been a hot mess all day and little mans numbers are no where near normal yet! Might need that xanax myself haha!

Oops! I'll correct that 167 to be blue.
Thank you! I will give his new dose of 1.5 tonight and we'll see how things look in the morning, and I will at least give a token dose i think.
