11/8 Max AMPS 414

Good luck to her, and congrats to you! Hopefully she doesn't have to wear a mask. I had my son back in February and they "preferred" you wear a mask...but at some point I just ripped it off because forget trying to have a baby while wearing one!

Max's numbers are starting to have some movement with those yellows, you'll get there!

I hope so soon!!!! I think they preferred her to wear one too but she couldn’t do it.

Replying on today's post instead of yesterday's. Suzanne, I did recommend the larger increase. But gave Lori the option to go slower. She wasn't feeling well at the time, so made the decision that worked for her.

Yep I guess I go to 9 tomorrow night right Wendy? @Wendy&Neko

An increase tomorrow would be a bit of a fast track, but I think it's be OK given you are trying to get back to where he was on Lantus. And provided you don't see any blue tonight.

Hi Suzanne. Thank you for checking on us. I was just taking a little breather. I am still keeping up with Max’s monitoring. I will catch it up on the spreadsheet today sometime. I’m still recovering from being sick. I haven’t felt well at all and doing the best that I can. I still haven’t seen my grandchild yet in person (FaceTime with my son) because I didn't want to take the chance of being contagious to anyone. We live on the eastern part of NC and my son and his family live on the western side so we will have to travel a little ways to get to them to see the baby. Plans are to go on Sunday if I am okay by then. I will be almost done with my antibiotics by then. It’s a 3 hr trip there and will likely stay all day then come back so I will have to leave Max unmonitored all day and that worries me but I don’t know what else to do about that. I’ve been kind of on the fence about increasing him because of that but I ended up doing it anyway starting last night. I am anxious about his glucose staying so high too and I know he needed the increase. So I suppose I will just continue to monitor and when we travel I will leave some food in his feeder. Anyway we are fine and thanks again for checking up.

I went ahead and increased again to 9.5 last night since it was recommended to go up unit. His spreadsheet is fixed now.
