? Large Bounce or Something Else

Shasta was doing quite well. Today he is through the roof. We haven't seen black numbers in quite some time. I am assuming that yesterday he probably fell below than the 144 at PM +3 but I'm on the road so could not test more. I'm thinking it's a bounce but the numbers just seem really high compared to what we have seen the past few weeks so I want to make sure I am not missing something. If they stay high do I need to consider going back up to 2 or do I give this a few days to work itself out?

I wouldn't raise just yet because it could be A bounce from going low. I see you haven't been able to test mid day this week. Can you get extra tests over the weekend?

Yes. I’m at a trade show Saturday and should be able to get more late Sat night and Sunday. Will not be able to get more during the week for quite some time. He was 433 this AM. The Insulin, while refrigerated, was opened when he was diagnosed back in July so I was thinking maybe that had lost some of it’s potency but it took him down to that tested 144 before the big spike. The poor guy acts like he is starving. We also switched to the freeze dried chickens treats but that was last week before the 144. Will test more on Sat night and Sunday. Thanks!

If my crystal ball was a bit more reliable, I suspect that Shasta may have dropped below 144 on 9/22 and what you're seeing is a bounce. It can take up to 3 days/6 cycles for a bounce to clear.

He is not really dropped much over the past three days since he skyrocketed. Opinions on delaying to see tomorrow or increase tonight. I travel again for the next week so the only testing will be AMPS and PMPS until next weekend. A daytime drop with an increase will not be picked up.
