Yesterday.

Ruby did her bouncy poo this morning after her dipsy-doodle last night. She has been coming down during the day. The Feliway diffusers have all dried up and I'm waiting for replacements to come in the mail, and in the meantime Ruby has been picking fights with Olive and she has been a little resistant to her tests and shots lately. Goes to show that the Feliway works very well against steroid aggression!

The oncologist sent me back Ruby's bloodwork. It all looks good. We're waiting a urinalysis that she ordered just in case her numbers have been affected by some underlying infection that we haven't detected. I once again declined the fructosamine even though she asked, saying that Ruby might not need insulin, because why spend +$100 on a test where I know the result, and I know she still needs insulin?

I'm glad too. @Christie & Maverick reminded me that one of the dangers of fleas is anemia, but there was no sign of that in the labs so that is a relief!

Olive fights back. Tonight I saw that when Ruby approached her, she flattened herself against the ground and then pounced on Ruby because she'd been so bullied all day. Breaks my heart to see them not getting along.

Olive fights back. Tonight I saw that when Ruby approached her, she flattened herself against the ground and then pounced on Ruby because she'd been so bullied all day. Breaks my heart to see them not getting along.

It would break my heart too. I hope the feliway gets there soon
