Still getting those blue AMPS. He's eating LC now and will check again at +1 Yesterday's post: https://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/threads/9-14-dallas-amps-130.252927/#post-2853773
LC all day, I guess Do you use the auto-feeder at night? Wondering if a snack at PM +9 will bring down the AMPS. @tiffmaxee
That’s what I was thinking. I went to bed early again last night. I’ll set it tonight and set the camera so I can check it in the morning to make sure he didn’t eat any before his AMPS.
Or, set your alarm for +9, feed a spoon and go back to bed. Yes, it's a bit of work and loss of sleep but hopefully only for a few days!
101 @ PMPS. Tyler wasn't able to get off work early today as planned, so he went without food from 10:30am-5:30pm. His second auto feeder just arrived. Tomorrow I'm going to set up 3 meals for him in case this happens again. He normally eats at 5:30am, 7:30am, 10:30am and 2:30pm That's what I'm going to do! Feed him at +9 and hope for the best. If I have to lose a bit of sleep so be it. I am going to Europe next week for 3 weeks for work and I'm getting very nervous. I was hoping we'd be on 1 drop by then and it would be smooth sailing for Tyler.
He just had the zoomies and was throwing his toys around, so he’s definitely feeling much better too!
He seems to get a higher PS if he doesn't eat around +8/+9! You could try configuring one the autofeeder to open at +8 or +9 and close at +10 if you have one of those now?
