I'm starting to believe that Susie has finally stopped bouncing.

I want to wish a very Happy Birthday to my friend, Adrienne, @Our Dolly Girl. I hope you have a wonderful day with your family! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you so much sweet Summer. I love the birthday dog. Hope your birthday was a nice one. Hope you have a really nice day. So happy to hear the bouncing may be gone. The past few days Dolly has had these mini bounces and I can now see why you were feeling frustrated with it. Hope the appointment went okay and things are okay with your mom. Nice start for Susie. Thanks again my friend. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Enjoy your day. It is all about you! :bighug:
Susie is doing awesome!!! I hope this continues for you. Hopefully Shooter will get there soon. Happy Birthday Adrienne!!! :)
Thanks, Heather. Shooter had some good numbers yesterday. Glad you caught that 43.

Afternoon Summer good luck with the reduction, a nice start for Susie today. I hope she surfs safely. Have a good day and I hope mom's visit went well :bighug::bighug:
Thanks, Diane. It has been a more relaxing day. I'm actually surprised she hit the 70's. I guess I just need a little break from the lower numbers and all the testing. Other things going on in my life.

I know 58 is not too low to shoot at AMPS or PMPS but this is new to me, especially since I gave Susie 2 tsps. of h/c at +10. I have not fed, will wait 20 minutes, and see if she comes up. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello, Summer! I hope you had a wonderful birthday! I doubt that you did because it was such a busy day -- I know it was a very busy day with your mother and Susie. I hope that her lungs are improving. A very happy birthday weekend to you, my friend! I'm glad that I know you. Now... as to Susie... she is doing fabulous. You deserve so much credit for this, Summer! I really feel like you have made a breakthrough with Susie (looking at the "big picture" of her spreadsheet.) We will see where you go from here... I know there will be ups and downs... but I really feel like things are getting better with Susie. Well done.

Thank you, dear friend. I am actually waiting for some advice right now. Susie was at 54 at +10. I fed her 2 tsps. of h/c. I just tested her and she is at 58 at PMPS. I am stalling, not feeding, and need to test her again in a minute. I am not comfortable shooting this low and this is a new experience for me. What would you do?

What I would do... and it's not official advice... is I would be trying to decide between a a half dose or a skip. How much I felt confident in my ability to test through the night would play into my decision, of course. Hopefully the great minds will come along soon to advise you.

I'm so afraid to skip because she has had two reductions in the last week. I'm just not sure what is going on with her. I will, obviously, have to watch her a lot tonight but my last reduction was supposed to relieve some of this concern. The 1.50 unit dose depot is still probably in place. Gosh, I almost miss the bounces - especially at night.

Yeah, and who says Levemir causes the late nadirs? Susie is just so unpredictable. I never know what this girl is going to do. I just wanted these reductions to bring her up a tad to where I was not constantly testing and staying up at night. I would love Pamela's number with Am at this point.

For what it's worth I'd have done the same (or at worst 1U as a depot drainer) after getting the 65, but we all know I like to live on the edge :joyful:

(not really, I just prefer to risk intervention and late nights vs losing momentum of low numbers)

Looks like she's getting a bit of a food bump, curious where +2/+3 take her.

I’m so glad you gave Susie the shot, she is doing soo well, you will keep the momentum going by giving her the shot :cat:
The blue that you saw yesterday PM and today AM was a small bounce (just a blue “only” bounce) and the lower preshot was because this AM cycle was a bounce clearing cycle. Let’s bring @Bandit's Mom experienced eyes to see if she agrees with my understanding :)

happy delayed birthday Summer and surf safely little Susie :bighug::bighug:

So nice to see that Susie might be done with that trampoline of hers, but I know she likes to keep us all guessing. Nicely shot at such a low number. Glad she didn't dip on you and hopefully allowed for some sleep.
