9.1 Macho amps 322 +2 344

I tried but it malfunctioned. We have to figure out how to give him enough carbs if green when you go to bed to keep him safe and not too much to cause a bounce. The same goes for the day though. You can’t test a lot then either. :banghead: On the bright side tge bounces are clearing faster.

NO! I was worried last night he might earn a reduction. The lowest point is hours away. He will probably be green by +3. So get a +3 and +4. If either is much lower we need to feed mc. Let me know that you saw this.

a reduction will just get him to all pink number.

He didn’t earn one last night. He’s starting to see more blue and green which is great. He’s making progress. If you increased you would see more green but to keep him safe testing up to +7 might be necessary. We have to go slowly. Lantus is dosed based upon how low it takes a cat. Often that is between +5-7. If not tested and fed he could go hypo. That is dangerous. You don’t increase when things are improving. The morning pinks are from him going into green at night.

Next time you start in blue, I'm wondering if you want to test and feed at +1 to prevent a dip at onset (which seems to be +1.5 or +2).
Did you have to feed any higher carbs tonight?

It's great to see Macho in good numbers every night! :-)

what do you mean?. teste him and give him food one hour after amps/ pmps ?

Yes. Again, I only mean in cycles like last night where he starts below 150 or so.

Normally, you test at +2 and often by then he has already dipped 50 points. If you test at +1 and feed a little LC (or MC depending on the +1), it might reduce the drop at +2 and give you a flatter cycle.
