9/1 Callie PMPS 78, +2 82, +3 97, +4 103

Happily, Callie is headed back down from the high yellows. +2.5 227 so a fairly significant drop. She ate all of her usual LC snack and a couple of treats at +2.5. We will get a +4.

+9 152 :) Late nadir coming down from bounce? I will give her a LC snack at +9.5 before pulling food and get a +11 to see if she's still dropping as we head toward PMPS.

+ 10.75 112 Callie does seem to be headed down... we may be in greens for PMPS. (First time shooting full amount at greens if I don't chicken out again...) I'll post when we have the PMPS #.

PMPS 78 - we are feeding her now and plan to give her the full +2.5 U in about 5mins. First time shooting full dose at green and we increased her dose 2 nights ago.

Steering ques - should we also give her a LC snack at +1/1.5 so she'll have some food in her when the insulin hits? Or do we want to see what the number looks like without addl food (she just finished eating post PMPS now)? ETA: I gave her a teaspoon of LC at +1. Hope that's right.

ETA: Just shot full dose. :nailbiting:

I'd say it's ok to give food (don't know your history) here especially as it's your first time giving a full dose in the greens. Just help her out a little bit, it's a low number, and it's a nighttime cycle.

Great, thanks! That's what my thinking was (better safe than sorry...)

Yes you are right. :-) When they start the cycle lower, it is good to start testing and feeding from +1 itself.

Looks like she may have nadired at PMPS!

She seems to like doing that when coming down from a bounce (just to make things exciting !)

Looks like she is headed back up now and I think Callie's poor ears are feeling a little sore -- think we can wait until +6 to test again to make sure she is still going up and not coming back down? I did give her a teaspoon of LC at +1, 2 and +3 just to make sure she was keeping safe. Not sure if that could result in a big drop at +5/ +6?

I think she is heading up and you can call it a night. :-)

Sounds good. Do you think I should test her late cycle or ok until AMPS? I know they can dip again...but I'm assuming that Callie is likely bouncing straight up now from the greens?
I think she should be OK till AMPS. Looks like a repeat of the PM cycle of 8/22 to me.
