? How much B12 Methylcobalamin

Oreos hind legs are what prompted a vet visit where we learned of his diabetes and diabetic neuropathy. I ordered b12 from vitacost 5000 mcg - 60 Capsules. I can’t find anything on this site. Can someone point me in the right direction as to how much to give him?

Methyl B-12 is a water soluble vitamin so you can't really give too much. Anything the body can't use is peed out.

The supplement used a lot is Zobaline for cats (no reason you need to spend the money to buy it! What you have is fine!) and the dose is 3000mcg once per day but there are lots of people who have given it twice a day.

I'd just go with 1 capsule per day, either all at once or broken up into 2 feedings.
