Pleasantly unexciting here. When do I consider a dosecrease?

She hit green 3 cycles ago. Not sure how much she was going to go down that night - I was suspicious with the PM+2 so set the alarm for regular testing but didn't notice the autofeeder was still set with daytime hours! They were both very hungry and thirsty in the morning though.

Temperature is cooler now and appetites are back, so I'm wondering if that really does make the difference between green and yellow for her.

Yes, unexciting is good. This may be an ignorant question, but will you really decrease her now when she’s mostly in blues and yellows (a little green on this dose if I can see the spreadsheet correctly on my phone?).
I’m glad your weather is cooler and it’s agreeing with the cats!

HA. My 'dosecrease' = increase. Isn't that what everyone uses, or does that mean decrease??:bookworm:

Thank you! I got confused about when the countdown started :) I'm not complaining about a few more relaxed cycles (if madam allows it)
Just checking, not 10 cycles? I have these numbers in my notes
<100 - hold for at least 10 cycles, incr ?u
<200 - hold for 6-10 cycles, incr 0.25u
200-300 - hold for 6 cycles,incr 0.25u
>300 - hold for 6 cycles, incr 0.5u

Since I've been fast tracking Ruby's increases perhaps I'm not the best person to ask, but if she's floating in the yellows a lot after the green I think maybe 6 would be ok because you want to get her below renal threshold as much as you can, right?

Yes. I’m sure they do. I’m the dope here. I thought I read decrease.

Oh yes, that makes sense - and I just remembered that there don't seem to be such precise 'rules' / guidelines for a failed reduction. She's feeling lemony today for sure.
You're right! I always forget the failed reduction thing and the fact that you can take the cat back up when numbers start increasing. So don't listen to me, take her back up whenever you feel ready to handle it. It's been a while since I've faced that scenario so I'd forgotten.

I think you're confirming to me...I don't think there are really any prescribed guidelines for this situation. Now I don't know what to do! Maybe I'll stick with your 6 cycle idea...I have plenty of hours to decide.

Unfortunately my new pattern seems to be that when I have to stay up for a series of PM readings, I end up missing AM shot time. I had smugly worked back to 830 on Sunday then splat. :( I had a 9am appt today so not bringing earlier til tonight.

Well this is all over my head. My only input, make sure you have a nice sleep depot in case the dosecrease makes madam throw a random 52 at you!
