Good morning
Have a happy day!
You are getting one of the best with Marje!Hi Summer
It's nice to meet you!
I am still learning but I am going to do tight regulation. @Marje and Gracie has been helping me, I would be lost without this group!
You are most welcome, Marje. I'm happy to welcome our new friends!Hi Cindy
I posted last evening that it’s time to raise his dose. You might want to read yesterday’s condo and let me know your questions.
I’m advising you based on TR so it’s ok to go ahead and update the signature block as @Summer and Susie suggested. Thanks, Summer, for dropping by and welcoming new membersThe more, the merrier!
Yahoo, I did it!15 minutes
Yikes
I think I can do it.
I understand what you are saying about the depot. That makes sense.
I would increase and just test early, see where he is headed, and steer the cycle with food, if need be.I had plans to increase Tansi's dose tomorrow since I have the day free to monitor. Now I see that I have appointments on both Mon and Tuesday that will require me to away during the noon hour which will be +6
Thinking I should delay increase until Wednesday when I am home days in a row. What would you do?
Doses can be changed more frequently. If you are following SLGS, you hold the dose for a week even if the BG is higher than we’d like to see. Getting kitties back into remission requires we be more proactive and responsive to higher BGs.How is it that TR encourages remission?
Excellent question. The BGs will be fairly flat but will change a bit in response to eating and the release of endogenous insulin. What does a non diabetic curve look like? Do they also have that nadir or does it stay pretty flat and consistent?
