8.12 Macho amps 304 +2 360

Do you think he’s losing weight? Is he skinny, overweight or just right?
He is definitely not losing weight. The vet said moderate obese but he is a big cat. So i think is good. He just ate all his food, i have to crunch (mash like powder) his origen treats on the top so he starts eating. Maybe doesn't smell like before or maybe he is the weather its hot in nyc and i don't have the ac all day. Macho loves winter.
I honestly don't know. :confused:

It’s good for him to lose weight but it needs to be really slowly. That will help his sugar go down. How many cams does he eat a day? We can figure out how much to cut out. When you need to feed him to keep him from dropping it just needs to be a teaspoon or two each time. So you would divide the daily amount throughout the day and hold back some until bedtime.

Max was too fat. He was only getting two cans of fancy feast and maintaining because he wasn’t active. If you can get Macho to play once it cools off that will help too.

He eats 3 cans of ff or tiny tigers a day, He plays too but not everyday.
I'll i try that too and give him 2 cans i think that will help. I believe it's a lot of food.

Don’t decrease his food by that much because cats can get very sick if they lose weight too fast. Just cut back by about 1/4 a can and no more. Max did not move much. He was pretty old when diagnosed, around 16 or 17.

I'm sorry for your loss. I know how painful its and i want to thank you for continuing helping people here.
I will try that. Just 2 cans and a half. Let's see if that helps.

@tiffmaxee 318

which this means that next week we go up with the dose and then down. In circles until his pancreas normalizes ?

Thank You
Clara

He might be breaking the bounce. Or not. He keeps us guessing. Just get a before bed test and set the feeder.

Hi Al/Garcia,

If you can get a +5 (test at midnight) - which is now, please do so? Wondering if Macho might be lower?

Thanks!
