8.10 Macho amps 403 +2 378

If I had to guess I think this will be a bounce day. Perhaps tonight as well. It gives all of you a break. We actually need more cycles like yesterday and less bounces.
Yes, that is my wish more green days and less pink.
His +5 came 347 :|

Boing! He often takes several cycles to clear bounces. Here’s my question to everyone. I know you worked hard yesterday but I think you only gave hc once. Is that correct? It seems nobody would be able to test at that rate at night and probably not during the day?

If I remember right:

MC at AMPS
HC (+ honey?) at +2
HC at +5
MC at +7

MC = FF Medleys
HC = 9 Lives

Ok. That’s a lot of hc so the reduction is definitely needed. Too hard to keep him up. It would be good to add that to the ss. Thanks Bhooma.

We live in NYC there is no way we will stop our lives to test a cat.
That is the most depressing and unreasonable to suggest... and to be honest absurd.
to test a cat from 1 to 5 am that person must not have a job or nothing else to do with their lives and that is very sad.

Where did that outburst come from? I just wrote that I agree with you that nobody would test day and night like that.

No problem. This fd stuff is hard. Macho is making a lot of progress though and we are all trying really hard to get him stable. It's frustrating trying to get there. Nobody likes cycles like yesterday but unfortunately we all go through some like that to get to well controlled and if really fortunate remission. I wish I could save a magic wand and make it happen. I never got Max into remission but he was well controlled. My first year was hard. :bighug:

This is Al. Macho is almost a year with us and we have never missed one insulin shot and here we are with crazy all over the place numbers.
In the beginning my Dad paid for the Libre sensor to get his reading because of how difficult was to get blood from Macho.
It was a battle between them (sometimes it lasted 20 minutes to get one drop of blood). I know that my father doesn't intent to offend you because he has tried a lot of things. He just get upset that Macho diabetes still nor normal and he has learned that other cats reverse in a couple of weeks or months and we were hoping the same.
We just want him to get stable at least that.

I hope tomorrow we can get at least yellow numbers.
I wonder what can be done for his body to heal once and for all.

someone posted this here did you read it?.

Cats can’t be fasted. Even just a few days not eating enough can cause them to get fatty liver disease which is very serious and some don’t recover. .I remember well seeing cats go into remission as I fought so hard to get Max regulated. Macho is relatively young so there’s still hope Some cats all of a sudden stop bouncing.
