what about give him at night to 2.50 since he goes so low and keep 2.75 in the morning?.

Different doses will make things worse. Lantus needs consistency. Cats drop lower at night. If he can get him to get used to being in normal numbers between 50-100 he won’t bounce as much hopefully. It is part of feline diabetes that is the most frustrating. When he hits green at night try and feed him a little middle carbs hourly until you go to bed. That’s about all you can do.

Al, you understand more about cat diabetes than most grown ups. You and Clara are doing such a good job. I know it's frustrating to see him bounce and not seem to get better, but he would be so much more sick than he is right now without your help and care. Don't get discouraged. :)
