I know it may feel scary or seem counterintuitive, but with TR you can shoot any number above 50. Theoretically, shooting low will give you a flat curve.

At this point, you don't have enough numbers that are in the normal range to warrant stopping insulin. In part, this is likely due to having skipped quite a few shots. Dexter's numbers are looking great! Like Bhooma said, you want to give your kitty every chance for a strong remission. To do that, you try to give Dexter's pancreas as much support while gradually reducing the insulin dose.

He’s looking great. Keep surfing Dexter. If he gets into the low 50’s feed some 10% to prevent a drop under 50 so he makes it a week in normal 50-90 range.
