The last couple of weeks we have pretty good experience with supplements. We introduced enzymes which honestly i believe are the reason for his sugarwise nice progress lately. Did anybody else notice some BG improvement after enzymes introduction?

I know, it seems unfathomable, but kitties do get there. I always look at Tyler's SS for inspiration and also as a guide for how a cat's numbers should look when they are ready for remission. Even months after he went off insulin, Tyler's numbers often are in the 70s and 60s. @Diane Tyler's Mom was so patient and did such a great job with him.
Thank you for the inspiration, it is a very good idea to look at kitties that went to remission for a while already and compare with Chico's, i didn't do this for a very looong time :) i checked Tyler's SS a lot of times in the past already, will keep it opened for a while now as well :) i follow @Gill & George 's George's SS as well, who is in remission since 2019

Hi Marina, Chico numbers are looking so good, you're doing a great job with him.
It took Tyler 2 years and 4 months to achieve remission, Tyler's numbers weren't even half as good as Chico's are at 7 months in . Just keep plugging away, you're doing a great job!
Thank you Diane for your kind words :bighug: we are happy with his progress and in the same time not in a rush to take him off insulin completely, he will go off when the time will be right :cat: hopefully he will get where Tyler is at some point as well :cat:

He's so cute pulling the blinds apart looking out the window.
he is really very cute but we had to stop using blinds altogether because of that though haha

I did add enzymes for a while to Ruby's food and did not notice a difference in her glucose levels, but she does not have IBD like Chico does. I have read that enzymes can be very helpful for IBD kitties to help with digestion and absorption.

That is the theory of why we think it helps :bookworm:
